Types of Mercies Needed for Your Life – Pastor Michael Oke

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Text: Mt 20:30-31

And, behold, two blind men sitting by the wayside, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

Lifetime Mercy. Ps 23: 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Mercy that commands stranger’s Help. Isa 60:10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
Illimitable Mercy. Ps 108: 4 4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
Extended Mercy. Ezra 7:28 And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counselors, and before all the king’s mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.
Great Mercy. Luke 1:58 And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
The God’s Anointed Mercy. 2 Sam 22:51 Ps 18:50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
Eternal Mercy. Ps 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children.
Sin forgiving Mercy. Mic 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. Rom 8: 33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
