Brief address by Pastor Dr. Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh The Apostolic Church Nigeria Vice President and LAWNA Territorial Chairman on 2nd February 2024, during the Area Temple Dedication of The Apostolic Church Nigeria Lagos Area.
Praise, adoration and thanks to God Almighty. The Creator and Master Builder of all things. To Him alone be the glory
Congratulations to all and sundry for this wonderful occasion and privilege given to us by God-more congrats to all and even myself too.
My Topic is “THIS IS THE LORD’S DOING”
As recorded in Psalm 118: 23-24
This was the LORD’S Doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Truly the LORD has done great things for us whereof we are glad. This Sanctuary as ordered by the LORD in prophecy some long years ago kick off in October 2010. It is almost 14 years in building and God ordered us to dedicate it at 90th Lagos Area Convention.
Thank God for all that the Lord used and still using for the completion. It was tedious when the old church building was to be demolished.
I thank God for the ministry of Pastor S. O. Ilesanmi- a Prophet and Evangelist with us.
In Gen 18:10-22. God revealed Himself to Jacob in dream and when he woke up. He said “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it He later name the place “BETHEL” vv 16-19 But I want to tell you that the Lord is here and I know.
King Solomon spoke, THE LORD said He would dwell in the dark cloud. I have surely built you an exalted house, and a place for you to dwell in forever. II Chron 6:1-2
And end up in verses 40-42. God appeared and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. The same glory will fill here and the Holy Sprit will do wonders among us.
Pentecost happened in the upper room ACTS 2.1-4. But the first miracle was in the Temple at the Beautiful Gate. Acts 31-10
“THIS IS THE LORD’S DOING”
The Lord will do more in your life as you make the House of God your Spiritual Home God bless you all.
