TACN LAWNA Principal Officers Visits Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Chairman

That is why it is important to visit the grassroot where the Church is located.”

As part of the move to strengthen the relationship between the Church and host community, The Apostolic Church Nigeria National Vice-President/ LAWNA Territorial Chairman Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh JP and Principal Officers of the Territory paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Dele Osinowo in his office on Friday October 11, 2024.
The LAWNA Territorial Chairman, Pastor (Dr) Uyeh used the visit to appreciate the Council Chairman for the development of work in the community most especially the resurfacing of roads in the Local Council.
When asked on how to continue the strengthen the relationship between the Local Council and the Church, the LAWNA Chairman said ”one of the reasons why we are here is to correct whatever has not been going on right between the church and Council.
As from now, we shall be relating with Local Government and others, so that they feel us that we caring.”

Pastor Uyeh enjoined the Chairman to continue the good work by meeting the need of the people at the grassroot level.
In his response, the LCDA Chairman Mayor Dele Osinowo appreciated the leadership of the church for deeming it right to interact with the Local Government at this time.
The Chairman said that despite the cordial relationship that existed between the Church and the State Government, the visit is first in the history of the Council that will church will call for interaction at the grassroot level.
The Principal officers of the Territory used the opportunity to pray for the progress of the Local Government, strength and wisdom to direct the affairs of the Council for the Chairman and good successor that will continue from where the Chairman will handover.
Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area is one of the 37 LCDAs in Lagos State where the International Convention Grounds of The Apostolic Church Nigeria located in Lagos State Nigeria.
