Remain Focus In The Face of Hardship In Land, Pastor Uyeh Charges The Apostolic Church Ministers

The National Vice President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria and LAWNA Territorial Chairman Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh, JP has Charged Ministers’ of God to remain focus in the midst of adverse social and economic factors ravaging country Nigeria.

Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh, JP gave the charge during in his welcome address at the 47th LAWNA Annual Ministers Conference/Convention holding at The National Temple, LAWNA International Convention Ground, Olorunda Ketu, Lagos State from 30th July – Ist August, 2024.

The LAWNA Territorial Chairman said that it is possible for anyone to be vulnerable and to lose focus of the heavenly calling by acting like the worldly people they are called to minister to. He reiterated that the theme of the conference is reminding of Ministers’ of God that they are in the world as Ministers, but we are not of the world, John 17:14&16.

The National Vice President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria Pastor Uyeh, used the avenue of the conference to remind the Ministers’ on the RAISE agenda, part of which this theme for the Ministers’ conference has properly addressed.

According to him, he said, ‘’ Despite the economic hardship in the country resulting from the high and unstable exchange rates, removal of fuel subsidy, the introduction of the A band electricity tariff, among other factors, you have not relented in your support and contributions to the different programmes and projects in the Church. Without such supports, the different programmes and projects would have been hampered. My admonition to you is as contained in 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

‘’this is our divinely inspired and a strategic agenda that is aimed at restoring fully the old glory of The Apostolic Church as it was enunciated by our glorified fathers in the Vision and thereby move the Church to the next level. It is the desire of Church Authority that we all support the success of this agenda to enable us have a Church without spot or wrinkle – Ephesians 5:26-27.’’

Once again, I welcome you all to this year’s Ministers’ Conference/Convention of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, LAWNA Territory. He also charged Ministers not to take the gathering of the conference as a ritual but a transformational gathering.
