Pastor Uyeh Charges GVU Staff and Students to Uphold Apostolic Standard as Lagos Campus Holds Maiden Matriculation

The Visitor and Chancellor of Glorious Vision University Ogwa Edo State, Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh JP has charged the Staff and Students of the institution of hold the Apostolic pattern of the Church.
Pastor (Dr) Uyeh gave the charge at the matriculation ceremony for new students of the institution held at Ogwa and Lagos Campuses respectively.
Pastor Uyeh who is also TACN National Vice-President/ LAWNA Territorial Chairman said that the institution is a Faith-based University with Apostolic and Pentecostal mandate in all forms.
According to LAWNA Territorial Chairman, he said ‘’we want you Staff and students to know that this is a Faith-based university. We are Apostolic, Spiritual Church, Pentecostal Church and apostolically in all forms. So as long as you stay with us, you adapt yourself, the Lord will continue to help and be Apostolic.
The Visitor also enjoined the Staff and Students to maintain the good image of Glorious Vision University in all ramifications.
He said, ‘’Keep the flag flying. Do not relent on your effort, teach the truth and impact the students so that they can come out in fly colours.
In his welcome address, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Ezekiel Shegun Asemah enjoined the students to lay good foundation that translate to better future in their academic career.
According to Prof Asemah, he said ‘’ your parents have sacrificed so much for you come to this school. So you must do everything possible to make them to be proud of you. As you have coming in, if you do not lay the foundation, it will become problem in the future.
‘’If you miss from the cradle you may not get it right again. Therefore, I want to charge you to emulate good things. Make friends with students that can be of help to you’’
Glorious Vision University – Lagos Campus matriculated 35 undergraduate students and seven Post-graduates students.
