No Room For Slackness Before The Judgement Seat- Pastor Uyeh
A note of warning is therefore coming to both the godly and the wicked, the righteous and the unrighteous that there is a judgement day coming, he said.
Pastor (Dr.) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh, The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA Territorial Chairman and National Vice President has urged Christians and all humanity not to give room to slackness in their walk and work with God if they are indeed hopeful to receive rewards of commendation before the Judgement seat.
Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh made this known in his brief remarks on the theme of the 48th LAWNA Annual International Convention;’ “We must lall appear at the Judgement seat of Christ” taken from II Corinthians 5 VS 10.
The on going seven day Convention opened on Saturday with a Welcome service at the International Convention grounds of The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA Territory along Oworonsoki- Ibadan expressway Olorunda, Ketu, Lagos.
He said that the theme becomes timely in view of the persisting depravity of man with wickedness and evil practices prevailing among men.
A note of warning is therefore coming to both the godly and the wicked, the righteous and the unrighteous that there is a judgement day coming, he said.
He added that everyone will stand before the Judgement seat and by then God will not be respecter of any Man and he will pass Judgement accordingly to everyone’s work.
He told the congregation of believers drawn from across the nation and overseas that being slothful will deny them of receiving commendation before the Judgement seat and it will deferred any hope of receiving crowns.
The Vice President therefore urged all the congregrants in the convention to be active and do away with slackness in the kingdom business with God,
Be good citizens of Heaven and good citizens of their earthly nation.
The convention runs from Saturday 3rd to Friday, 9th August 2024. Various speakers and preachers from diverse backgrounds are ministering in the events.
