Separation From Oppression – Pastor Michael A. Oke

Text:  1 Sam 23:28

Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth.

Complete Separation from Seven Terrible kinds of Oppression

Job 35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.

1. SEPARATION FROM SPIRITUAL OPPRESSION. Isa 38:14
2. This causes you to relate with dead people in your sleep/dream.
   1. This indicates that the witches are currently at work in your life over a thing.
3. Spiritual Oppression is the reason why evil forces press you down in your sleep/dream.
   1. This happens when indicating that some wicked people are working to debar your rising.
   1. It could indicate that a wicked man does not want you to rise above him.
   1. It could also indicate that your inner man has been weak or powerless.
4. SEPARATION FROM FINANCIAL OPPRESSION. Job 35: 9
5. This is the reason why you have sex in the dream/sleep.
   1. This always causes a financial blockage, wastage, and stoppage.
   1. It also causes financial epileptic supply – finish spending before getting another one.
   1. It also hinders heavy breakthrough contracts or connections.
6. SEPARATION FROM MARITAL OPPRESSION. 1 Sam 25:36-42
7. This always happens when evil forces are manipulating a marriage.
   1. This is when there is no joy in the marriage, especially when the marriage is childless.
   1. This is the reason why a partner is tired of the marriage despite all the good the marriage has brought unto him/her.
   1. The evil forces will open the eyes of the partners to the opposite side.
   1.  Hence, the wife/husband begins to look for an extramarital partner to make the marriage more embittered. 
   1. Success of the marriage becomes a mirage.
   1. Marital oppression is when the home is hot, staying is unfavorable, and quitting is possible.
8. SEPARATION FROM DESTINY OPPRESSION. Psalm 30:12
9. This is when your glory is weeping for not being fulfilled. Psalm 30:12.
10. How would you know if your glory is weeping for not being fulfilled?
    1. You will always be sorrowful for not attaining the level you are supposed to have attained.
    1. You will know that indeed you are labouring, but the achievement cannot quantify the labor.
    1. You will always be dreaming of greatness, but it doesn’t come to pass.
    1. Your mind will be filled up with visions and ambitions, but not come to fulfillment.
11. SEPARATION FROM ADVANCEMENT OPPRESSION. John 5: 7
12. This is when there is no tangible progress in your life.
    1. The same point you were at many years ago, the same you are still.
    1. This is the reason why you still find yourself in the same place/school you had lived.
    1. This is showing that there is no progress in your life at all.
    1. This is a revelation that your glory is tied somewhere in the realm of darkness.
    1. This is the reason why you have been in the wrong place for a long time.
    1. This makes you stay in one place for many years without a meaningful achievement.
    1. This makes people who come after you to meet and overtake you.
    1. This is called the Disability of Destiny. John 5: 7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
13. SEPARATION FROM RELATIONSHIP  OPPRESSION.
14. 1 Sam 23:38Separation from he who wants you to labour, but does not want you to prosper.
    1. That is separation from anyone associating with you but bringing affliction to you.Separation from the boss who does not want you to prosper.Separation from friends or associates who are digging potholes for you.Serration from workers or staff members working with you but ruining you silently.Separation from the tenants disrupting your peace.Separation from demonic giants that reside in you.
15. SEPARATION FROM EVIL COVENANT.
16. Separation from the known or unknown covenant that your parents have registered for you in the past. Isa 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled…
    1. This can cause a serious setback in your life.
    1. This can always cause serious affliction since there is always a spirit behind every covenant.
    1. This makes you work without happiness. – hence you suffer and smile.
    1. This is the cause of some breakthrough denials. Visa/Promotion/Elevation/Connection.
17. Separation from the powers that tie you with the wrong people.

Prayer Points

• Father, anyone relating with causing my life a setback, we are separated today.
• Father, separate me from the wrong people today.
• Father separate me from evil people today.
• Father, I declare, my life will progress!
• Spirit of oppression, depart from my marriage now
• My Father, My Father, deliver my destiny from oppression.

Father, set my life free from stagnation!

• Father, separate me from the evil covenant.
• Bad luck covenant, separate from my life.
• Father, my life will move forward!
• My Father, My Father, Set my vision free!
• My Father, My Father, empower my vision for fulfillment!
• My Father, My Father, Separates me from Financial Oppression.

• My Father, My Father, Deliver my marriage from Oppression.
• My Father, My Father, Separate me Demonic Oppressions.

• My Father, My Father, Separate me from Affliction
• O LORD, I am oppressed; help me. Isa 38:14
